TV Party: Avant Garde Show

NEVER BEFORE RELEASED EPISODE!

The Avant Garde episode took place January 1, 1979 and was one of the very first TV Party episodes to air. Glenn OBrien opens the show by saying that there will be no cocktails because its January 1st, and bars are not open. As he makes this aware to the audience, he is smoking a joint, and says that they will do their best without the alcohol. This is TV Party at their best, off the wall and without boundaries. Guests include Fred Schneider (B-52s), Amos Poe, Fab 5 Freddy, David Walter McDermott, Eric Mitchell, and Robert Delforde Brown. Performances by Walter Steding and Von Elmo. The TV Show that's a party!
